Horchata Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. raw almonds
2 Tbsp. brown rice, uncooked
1 ½ cups water
1 medium frozen banana, cut into chunks
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ C. old-fashioned rolled oats

Directions:

Soak the almonds and rice in the water for at least 2 hours or as long as overnight.
Transfer the almonds, rice, and water to a blender and blend until most of the almonds and rice are broken up. Strain, reserving the liquid. (You should have about 1 cup.)
Return the liquid to the blender with the banana, vanilla, cinnamon, and oats. Blend until smooth
